1968 Heuer Carrera Skipper versus 2023 Tag Heuer Skipper.

Close but no cigar. While the 1968 Heuer Skipper still is my dream, a grail, even, the 2023 is cool, but could have been even better. For the 2023 edition, they should have kept it simple: Remove the unnecessary text, just keep Heuer Skipper, at 12. Remov

Heuer Carrera 73353 Valjoux 7733 1970's.

Credir: Analog and Shift. Even nicer than the one I posted some days ago, due to the absence of date. Big love for these vintage Carreras! Best, Nicolas

Probably still my favorite of all my vintage Heuers: the Autavia ref. 2446 GMT "MK1" i.e. first execution.

The watch is from ca. 1968, and it is - say - fairly rare. Cheers, HSTE

That really is a great looking 60th anniversary Heuer Carrera

The silver sunburst dial is striking and the small lume dots being aged really work so well on it as do the black concentric ring sub dials. It really evokes a strong vintage vibe and the best from Heuer's past. Wear and enjoy it in good health. Marc

My Belgian air force (Force Aérienne Belge) chronograph.

Not often seen; this one is from 1970. Reference 7753, running a Valjoux 7733 (the movement is unique to this model for Heuer). It's one of the few vintage watches I currently own. It's a keeper for me.
